I am a graduate student at the University of Toronto, currently completing my dissertation on rural reform in the Soviet 1950s and the everyday life of Nikita S. Khrushchev’s collective farmers (kolkhozniks).

Historichnik is a blog dedicated to exploring electronic resources for living in, studying and teaching about Russia. It is also an online archive of web resources for Russian studies.  Along with my reviews, there is also a searchable list of links located here.  Please consider contributing to the blog.  I would welcome guest posts (in Russian, German or English) reviewing related resources as well as suggestions about topics to cover.

Subscribe to the blog or stay updated on facebook or by email.  For more wide-ranging topics, follow me @auriberg.

Thank you for reading!
